# Task List vs JobLog

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Task List at none against JobLog's 3. Task List also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.6). JobLog's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. JobLog sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Task List asks for nothing beyond the download.

Task List ships an update every 2 months, JobLog every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
