# Motivation vs SmartTasty

The clearest difference is rating: SmartTasty at 5.0 against Motivation's 4.2. SmartTasty also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). Motivation's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Motivation sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SmartTasty sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SmartTasty holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Motivation has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
