# Amber Manager vs Comet

The clearest difference is rating: Comet at 4.7 against Amber Manager's 4.0. Comet also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (7.8K vs 2). Amber Manager's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Comet sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $20.00 per month. Amber Manager asks for nothing beyond the download.
