# Extra Butter vs Bouncewear

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Extra Butter at 641 against Bouncewear's 3. Bouncewear's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bouncewear holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Extra Butter has 641 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
