# Gameboard & Repo vs EICSD

The clearest difference is update cadence: EICSD at every 9 months against Gameboard & Repo's every 50 months. EICSD also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Gameboard & Repo ships an update every 50 months, EICSD every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
