# RichTexture vs Typepad Editor

The clearest difference is rating: Typepad Editor at 5.0 against RichTexture's 4.1. RichTexture's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (49 vs 3). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Typepad Editor holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RichTexture has 49 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
