# DPI vs Size Image

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Size Image at none against DPI's 1. Size Image also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). DPI's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 139). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DPI sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Size Image asks for nothing beyond the download.

DPI holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DPI has 1.1K ratings behind it against 139, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 60% of DPI's written reviews are positive against 57% of Size Image's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
