# فتوى vs Bites

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: فتوى at none against Bites's 10. فتوى also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). Bites's advantage is ratings volume (2.2K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bites sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. فتوى asks for nothing beyond the download.

فتوى holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bites has 2.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

فتوى ships an update every 2 months, Bites fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
