# Nextlingua vs Parley

The clearest difference is ads: Parley at none against Nextlingua's shown. Parley also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). Nextlingua's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nextlingua sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Parley sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nextlingua ships an update fortnightly, Parley every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
