# Pasteca vs Giraffas

The clearest difference is update cadence: Giraffas at every 2 weeks against Pasteca's every 3 months. Pasteca's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pasteca ships an update every 3 months, Giraffas every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
