# Next Up vs Multi

The clearest difference is ads: Next Up at none against Multi's shown. Next Up also leads on ratings volume (2.8K vs 105) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Multi's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 75%). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Next Up sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Multi sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Next Up against 4.8 for Multi. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Next Up has 2.8K ratings behind it against 105, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 75% of Next Up's written reviews are positive against 86% of Multi's.

Next Up ships an update every 5 weeks, Multi monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
