# Next Up vs Interval Timer

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Next Up at 2.8K against Interval Timer's 1. Next Up also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Interval Timer's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Next Up sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Interval Timer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Interval Timer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Next Up has 2.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
