# VidCast vs GenMotionAI

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: VidCast at 10.0 against GenMotionAI's 14.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VidCast sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and GenMotionAI sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VidCast ships an update every 3 weeks, GenMotionAI monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
