# Golf GPS++ vs golf ai

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Golf GPS++ at 4.7K against golf ai's 153. golf ai's advantage is review sentiment (54% vs 45%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Golf GPS++ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and golf ai sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Golf GPS++ holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Golf GPS++ has 4.7K ratings behind it against 153, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Golf GPS++'s written reviews are positive against 54% of golf ai's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
