# Golf GPS++ vs Simplify Golf

The clearest difference is update cadence: Simplify Golf at every 5 days against Golf GPS++'s every 5 weeks. Simplify Golf also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Golf GPS++'s advantage is ratings volume (4.7K vs 3) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Golf GPS++ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Simplify Golf sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Simplify Golf holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Golf GPS++ has 4.7K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Golf GPS++ ships an update every 5 weeks, Simplify Golf every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
