# Golf GPS++ vs GOLF

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: GOLF at none against Golf GPS++'s 3. GOLF also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Golf GPS++'s advantage is ratings volume (4.7K vs 2). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Golf GPS++ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. GOLF asks for nothing beyond the download.

GOLF holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Golf GPS++ has 4.7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Golf GPS++ ships an update every 3 weeks, GOLF every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
