# Tipsy vs Fridge

The clearest difference is rating: Fridge at 5.0 against Tipsy's 4.5. Fridge also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 4 months). Tipsy's advantage is ratings volume (51 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tipsy sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Fridge asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fridge holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tipsy has 51 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tipsy ships an update every 4 months, Fridge every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
