# Hexio vs Line Up

The clearest difference is rating: Hexio at 4.8 against Line Up's 3.0. Hexio also leads on ratings volume (260 vs 2). Line Up's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hexio sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Line Up sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hexio holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hexio has 260 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hexio ships an update every 2 months, Line Up every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
