# Hexio vs zero

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: zero at none against Hexio's 3. zero also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 83%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Hexio's advantage is ratings volume (259 vs 5) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hexio sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. zero asks for nothing beyond the download.

zero holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hexio has 259 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 83% of Hexio's written reviews are positive against 100% of zero's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
