# Never vs I

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: I at none against Never's 3. I also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Never's advantage is ratings volume (507 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Never sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. I asks for nothing beyond the download.

I holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Never has 507 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Never's written reviews are positive against 50% of I's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Never ships an update every 4 months, I every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
