# Happy vs おとなの日記帳

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Happy at none against おとなの日記帳's 2. Happy also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). おとなの日記帳's advantage is review sentiment (85% vs 71%) and ratings volume (21 vs 2). On price and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. おとなの日記帳 sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Happy asks for nothing beyond the download.

Happy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: おとなの日記帳 has 21 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Happy's written reviews are positive against 85% of おとなの日記帳's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
