# Happy vs Positive Journal

The clearest difference is update cadence: Positive Journal at every 4 days against Happy's monthly. Happy's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Happy ships an update monthly, Positive Journal every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
