# WeType VoiceMaster vs BOFAS

The clearest difference is update cadence: WeType VoiceMaster at every 2 months against BOFAS's every 4 months. WeType VoiceMaster also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WeType VoiceMaster ships an update every 2 months, BOFAS every 4 months. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
