# Simple Log vs GoShed

Simple Log and GoShed are too close to call on the numbers: across 9 compared parameters — price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. Simple Log sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.49 per month and GoShed sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Simple Log against 5.0 for GoShed. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 4 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
