# BeatStyle vs Rap Maker

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: BeatStyle at none against Rap Maker's 3. BeatStyle also leads on review sentiment (90% vs 73%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). Rap Maker's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 169). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rap Maker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per 7 days. BeatStyle asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for BeatStyle against 4.6 for Rap Maker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rap Maker has 1.1K ratings behind it against 169, so its average is the more settled of the two.
