# Gigography vs Birthday Countdown

The clearest difference is price: Birthday Countdown at Free against Gigography's $1.99. Birthday Countdown also leads on rating (4.8 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (428 vs 9). Gigography's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Birthday Countdown is free to download; Gigography costs $1.99 up front. Gigography sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Birthday Countdown sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Birthday Countdown holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Birthday Countdown has 428 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.
