# 华人168 vs Thermometer App

The clearest difference is rating: 华人168 at 3.8 against Thermometer App's 2.3. 华人168 also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (199 vs 3). Thermometer App's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 15) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 华人168 sells 15 one-off in-app purchases. Thermometer App asks for nothing beyond the download.

华人168 holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 华人168 has 199 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of 华人168's written reviews are positive against 33% of Thermometer App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

华人168 ships an update every 10 days, Thermometer App every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
