# HPGas Saathi vs Eastern Power

The clearest difference is rating: HPGas Saathi at 4.0 against Eastern Power's 2.3. HPGas Saathi also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). Eastern Power's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 1) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HPGas Saathi holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eastern Power has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of HPGas Saathi's written reviews are positive against 25% of Eastern Power's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HPGas Saathi ships an update every 2 months, Eastern Power every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 8, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
