# SRF/YSS vs Zero

The clearest difference is ratings volume: SRF/YSS at 399 against Zero's 13. SRF/YSS also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Zero's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 83%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for SRF/YSS against 4.8 for Zero. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SRF/YSS has 399 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 83% of SRF/YSS's written reviews are positive against 100% of Zero's.

SRF/YSS ships an update every 2 months, Zero every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
