# Dropout vs UTVS

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Dropout at 99% against UTVS's 50%. Dropout also leads on ratings volume (79K vs 8) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). UTVS's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dropout sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. UTVS asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dropout holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dropout has 79K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 99% of Dropout's written reviews are positive against 50% of UTVS's.

Dropout ships an update every 2 months, UTVS every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
