# Dropout vs TheoryVerse

The clearest difference is rating: Dropout at 5.0 against TheoryVerse's 3.0. Dropout also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (77K vs 3). TheoryVerse's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dropout sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and TheoryVerse sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dropout holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dropout has 77K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Dropout ships an update every 2 months, TheoryVerse every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
