# Dropout vs Saturn Karaoke

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Saturn Karaoke at none against Dropout's 2. Saturn Karaoke also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Dropout's advantage is ratings volume (80K vs 1) and chart position (#57 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dropout sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Saturn Karaoke asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Dropout against 5.0 for Saturn Karaoke. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dropout has 80K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 99% and 100% positive.

Dropout ships an update every 2 months, Saturn Karaoke every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
