# FastVPN vs DynaMail

The clearest difference is rating: FastVPN at 4.2 against DynaMail's 2.0. FastVPN also leads on ratings volume (144 vs 4). DynaMail's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FastVPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. DynaMail asks for nothing beyond the download.

FastVPN holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FastVPN has 144 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of FastVPN's written reviews are positive against 33% of DynaMail's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FastVPN ships an update every 2 months, DynaMail every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
