# EasyForecast vs Epic Skies

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EasyForecast at none against Epic Skies's 1. EasyForecast also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). Epic Skies's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (10 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Epic Skies sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. EasyForecast asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for EasyForecast against 5.0 for Epic Skies. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Epic Skies has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

EasyForecast ships an update weekly, Epic Skies every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
