# BlazePod vs TeamACTIV

The clearest difference is rating: TeamACTIV at 5.0 against BlazePod's 4.2. TeamACTIV also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 12) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). BlazePod's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 18 months) and ratings volume (233 vs 6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BlazePod sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. TeamACTIV asks for nothing beyond the download.

TeamACTIV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BlazePod has 233 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BlazePod ships an update fortnightly, TeamACTIV every 18 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
