# BlazePod vs Prompt Sidekick

The clearest difference is rating: BlazePod at 4.2 against Prompt Sidekick's 3.5. BlazePod also leads on ratings volume (233 vs 2). Prompt Sidekick's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BlazePod sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Prompt Sidekick asks for nothing beyond the download.

BlazePod holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BlazePod has 233 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of BlazePod's written reviews are positive against 50% of Prompt Sidekick's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BlazePod ships an update fortnightly, Prompt Sidekick every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
