# App LSQ vs Monstera

The clearest difference is rating: App LSQ at 5.0 against Monstera's 3.0. App LSQ also leads on iOS requirement (13.6 vs 15.6). Monstera's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 15 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. App LSQ sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Monstera sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

App LSQ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of App LSQ's written reviews are positive against 57% of Monstera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

App LSQ ships an update every 15 months, Monstera every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
