# UCI Now vs UC ClassFinder

The clearest difference is review sentiment: UC ClassFinder at 100% against UCI Now's 57%. UC ClassFinder also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). UCI Now's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UC ClassFinder sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. UCI Now asks for nothing beyond the download.

UCI Now holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UCI Now has 24 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of UCI Now's written reviews are positive against 100% of UC ClassFinder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UCI Now ships an update monthly, UC ClassFinder every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
