# PDF Scanner App vs SC Scanner

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SC Scanner at 100% against PDF Scanner App's 37%. SC Scanner also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). PDF Scanner App's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (27K vs 5). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Scanner App sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and SC Scanner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
