# DERE EVIL EXE vs Crunchyroll

The clearest difference is rating: DERE EVIL EXE at 4.8 against Crunchyroll's 3.0. DERE EVIL EXE also leads on review sentiment (92% vs 50%) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Crunchyroll's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DERE EVIL EXE sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Crunchyroll sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $13.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DERE EVIL EXE holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DERE EVIL EXE has 4.3K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 92% of DERE EVIL EXE's written reviews are positive against 50% of Crunchyroll's.

DERE EVIL EXE ships an update every 4 months, Crunchyroll every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
