# Eldrive vs MPass

The clearest difference is rating: Eldrive at 4.6 against MPass's 3.0. Eldrive also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (27% vs 16%). MPass's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Eldrive holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eldrive has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
