# Shine vs Diff

The clearest difference is price: Diff at Free against Shine's $0.99. Diff also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). Shine's advantage is ratings volume (109 vs 2) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 18.0). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Diff is free to download; Shine costs $0.99 up front. Shine sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Diff asks for nothing beyond the download.

Diff holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shine has 109 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
