# Satori Reader vs Breakthrough! Visual Novel

The clearest difference is rating: Satori Reader at 4.8 against Breakthrough! Visual Novel's 3.7. Satori Reader also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (218 vs 3). Breakthrough! Visual Novel's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 90%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Satori Reader sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Breakthrough! Visual Novel sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Satori Reader holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Satori Reader has 218 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Satori Reader's written reviews are positive against 100% of Breakthrough! Visual Novel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
