# iSecure vs Cryptific

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Cryptific at none against iSecure's 3. Cryptific also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). iSecure's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 35 months) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iSecure sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Cryptific asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for iSecure against 5.0 for Cryptific. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cryptific has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
