# iRobot vs Hiboy S2

iRobot and Hiboy S2 both sit at 3.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of iRobot's written reviews are positive against 32% of Hiboy S2's. iRobot also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 11.0). Hiboy S2's advantage is ratings volume (213 vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hiboy S2 holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hiboy S2 has 213 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of iRobot's written reviews are positive against 32% of Hiboy S2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
