# beam Home vs Garadget

The clearest difference is rating: beam Home at 4.2 against Garadget's 3.5. beam Home also leads on ratings volume (233 vs 11). Garadget's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 38%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

beam Home holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: beam Home has 233 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of beam Home's written reviews are positive against 50% of Garadget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
