# SCORE vs Scoreboard

SCORE and Scoreboard both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 50% of SCORE's written reviews are positive against 0% of Scoreboard's. SCORE also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). Scoreboard's advantage is price (Free vs $1.99) and update cadence (monthly vs every 22 months). On rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Scoreboard is free to download; SCORE costs $1.99 up front. Scoreboard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. SCORE asks for nothing beyond the download.

SCORE holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SCORE has 751 ratings behind it against 100, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of SCORE's written reviews are positive against 0% of Scoreboard's.

SCORE ships an update every 22 months, Scoreboard monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
