# Umbilically vs Load Shedding

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Load Shedding at 100% against Umbilically's 33%. Load Shedding also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.6). Umbilically's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Umbilically holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Load Shedding has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Umbilically's written reviews are positive against 100% of Load Shedding's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
