# RAF Stories vs RAF Discovery

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RAF Stories at 100% against RAF Discovery's 45%. RAF Stories also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 6 months). RAF Discovery's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RAF Discovery holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of RAF Stories's written reviews are positive against 45% of RAF Discovery's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RAF Stories ships an update every 3 months, RAF Discovery every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
