# BarGlance vs BarRadar

The clearest difference is rating: BarRadar at 5.0 against BarGlance's 4.4. BarRadar also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 87%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). BarGlance's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (111 vs 9). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BarRadar holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4.
